The Michigan Cancer Research Consortium CCOP (MCRC-CCOP) is the cooperative effort of eleven Southeastern and mid-Michigan area health care organizations, as well as over 100 medical oncologist, radiation oncologists, surgeons and other specialists. The MCRC-CCOP is one of 50 research programs established the by National Cancer Institute (NCI) to provide patients with access to national cancer research studies while remaining in their own communities.
As a national research center, the MCRC-CCOP recruit's patients to participate in investigational cancer studies designed to determine ways to best prevent, detect, diagnose, and treat cancer.
